Playa Grandi

Playa Grandi (also known as Playa Piskado) is like Playa Forti, a small beach on the west coast and here the sand is what coarser and darker, and there are quite a few rocks as you walk into the sea. So nice to spend a day sunbathing and swimming in the sea is not really recommended here. However, this small fishing beach is very suitable for snorkeling and diving, and the present authentic Curacao fishing boats and nets is a wonderful location for taking pictures. The fishing boats sail early morning and come back with the fresh catch. Some fishermen prepare it all on a stone platform fish for sale. Still interesting to experience once with a beautiful sunset in the background. On the beach there are some machineel trees that provide shade. A small snack bar is open in the weekends.
