Nena sanchez Art

Since the early 18th century, a plantation house has stood here, which was rebuilt in 1840. It's a beautiful mansion with a lovely driveway. Landhuis Jan Kok is situated on a hill and has a large terrace and galleries on its long sides.

The resident and namesake, Jan Kok (or Jan Kock), was not well-liked due to his cruelty, and it is said that his ghost still haunts the place. It is now the art gallery of local artist Nena Sanchez, whose colorful paintings are inspired by Curaçaoan nature and culture.
