Landhuis Ascension is an activity in Curaçao at Banda Abou. Ascension is one of the oldest plantation houses in Curaçao (1672). The plantation was used for agriculture and livestock farming.

Ascension is one of the oldest plantation houses in Curaçao (1672). The plantation was used for agriculture and livestock farming.
Ascension is situated on a hill, allowing the trade winds to cool the house and providing the owner with a clear view of the plantation, enabling him to spot potential dangers from afar.
The plantation house has been beautifully restored and furnished with authentic Curaçaoan furniture. It is now used as a training center for the Royal Netherlands Navy. The grounds and building can be visited by appointment or during the Open House on the first Sunday of every month (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
